Hello, my name is Susi.
After completing my BSc and MSc in psychology, I have now been working in the field of mental health for about 5 years. During this time I have been pleased to see a positive shift in public perceptions and understanding of mental health difficulties.
Common difficulties like anxiety and depression are becoming increasingly talked about in the media, more and more public figures are beginning to acknowledge and discuss their own experiences of mental health difficulties, which is great to see.
The startling figure that one in four of us will experience mental health difficulties at some point in our life just goes to show how important it is for us to continue discussing mental health and improving our attitudes and understanding of these difficulties.
With this in mind I thought it would be nice to set up this space to not only discuss mental health, but also share some strategies, tips and tricks that I have seen to be helpful.
